Zapmoto integrates with dealership data management systems (DMS) and cloud-based software, pulling in dealership customer data to facilitate dealership services. We do not sell this data.

The types of dealership customer data we may access include:

Customer Contact Information: Name, email address, phone number, and mailing address.
Vehicle Data: VIN, make, model, service history, and purchase records.
Platform Interaction Data: Logins, trip acceptance history, and engagement with dealership services.

Additionally, for Independent Contractor Drivers, we may collect:

Driver Information: Name, contact details, trip history.
Self-reported Credit Score (optional): For insurance and risk assessment purposes.

3. How Zapmoto Uses Dealership Customer Data

Zapmoto processes dealership customer data in alignment with our dealership partners' needs. While dealerships define their customer relationships and interactions, Zapmoto enhances their operations by analyzing trends, optimizing logistics, and improving service efficiency through data-driven insights.

Zapmoto may use aggregated or anonymized dealership customer data to:

Zapmoto does not sell dealership customer data or use it for unrelated third-party marketing. However, we may analyze and process this data to improve dealership services, platform efficiency, and customer experience.

With Dealerships: To facilitate dealership customer services, including vehicle transactions.

8. Data Processing Addendum (DPA)

This Privacy Policy outlines how Zapmoto processes dealership customer data. In addition, dealerships that use Zapmoto's services are subject to a separate Data Processing Addendum (DPA), which governs specific obligations regarding data processing, security, and compliance.

9. Children's Privacy

Zapmoto's services are not directed at individuals under 13. We adhere to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act and do not knowingly collect personal information from any child under the age of 13. We ask that minors under the age of 13 not submit any personal information to us. If you believe we have been provided with personal information of a child under the age of 13, please contact us at privacy@zapmoto.com to request that such information be deleted from our records.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our business operations or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on our website with the effective date clearly stated.
